FSSAI licence
Food Safety and Standards Authority of India
The statutory Indian food-safety licence. It certifies the facility and products comply with the Food Safety and Standards Act — the baseline legal requirement for manufacturing and selling food in India.
HACCP
Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points
A preventive food-safety system: every biological, chemical and physical hazard in the process is identified, and critical control points — cook temperatures, drying, metal detection — are monitored and documented for every batch.
ISO 22000
International food safety management standard
The international standard for food safety management systems, combining HACCP with management-system discipline: traceability, supplier control, corrective action and continuous audit across the whole operation.
APEDA registration
Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority
Registration with the Government of India authority for agri-food exports — required for processed potato product exporters and the basis for export documentation and quality inspection under Indian law.
US FDA
United States Food and Drug Administration
Facility registration under FDA requirements for food exported to the United States, including compliance with US labelling and food-safety modernisation (FSMA) obligations for imported food.
