- What are dehydrated potato flakes?
- Dehydrated potato flakes are cooked, mashed potatoes dried on steam-heated drums into thin sheets and broken into flakes. They reconstitute quickly with hot water or milk into mashed potato, and serve as a base ingredient for snacks, snack pellets, soups, bakery products, ready meals and baby cereals.
- What is the HS code for potato flakes exported from India?
- Potato flakes are classified under HS code 1105 20 00 — "flakes, granules and pellets of potatoes" (heading 1105 of the Harmonized System). Indian export documentation uses ITC-HS code 11052000.
- What is the price of potato flakes per kg or per tonne?
- Bulk pricing depends on grade, order volume, packaging and Incoterms (FOB, CIF or delivered). Contact us with your application and required quantity for a current quotation — we respond to trade enquiries within 24 hours.
- What is the minimum order quantity for bulk supply?
- We supply in bulk to food manufacturers and importers, typically in container-load quantities. Smaller trial volumes can be discussed for first orders alongside samples — ask us when you enquire.
- What packaging options do you offer?
- Standard packing is 20–25 kg multi-wall kraft paper bags with a food-grade PE liner, palletised for container loading. Customised pack sizes and private-label packaging can be arranged on request.
- What is the shelf life of potato flakes and how should they be stored?
- Stored in unopened original packaging in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight, dehydrated potato flakes typically keep for 12 to 18 months. Exact shelf life is stated on the Certificate of Analysis for each batch.
- Which certifications does 3Brothers Agri hold?
- Our operations are FSSAI-licensed and follow HACCP and ISO 22000 food-safety management systems. We are an APEDA-registered exporter, and our products meet US FDA requirements. Certificate details are shared with commercial documentation on request.
- Which industries use your potato flakes?
- Our flakes go into snack pellets and extruded snacks, aloo bhujia and namkeen, soups and gravies, bakery and gnocchi, ready meals, baby cereals, and mashed-potato applications across food service and retail manufacturing.
- Do you provide samples before a bulk order?
- Yes. Request a sample through our contact page with a note on your application and volumes, and we will arrange dispatch along with the technical data sheet.
- Which countries do you export to?
- We supply food manufacturers in more than 50 countries worldwide, with full export documentation — Certificate of Analysis, certificate of origin, phytosanitary and health certificates as required by the destination market.
- Can you produce customised flake specifications?
- Yes. Alongside our Standard, Regular and Premium grades we produce customised specifications — granulation, moisture, sulphite level and packaging can be tailored to your process. Share your target spec and we will confirm feasibility.
